Sunken Concrete Repair & Leveling

We raise and level concrete using our patented PolyJacking system all over Texas.

3 Most Common Methods for Sinking Concrete Repair

While other companies make use of mudjacking or slabjacking when it comes to fixing sinking slabs, we use a technique known as polyjacking. The three concrete repair methods are all very similar, however, they do have some major differences. Polyjacking makes use of an expanding polyurethane foam whereas mud and slabjacking make use of a messy concrete slurry mix.  Our system is waterproof and will not deteriorate over time like pourous ready mix will.

Also, the repair process for mud and slabjacking involve drilling somewhat large holes in the damaged concrete slab. These holes can be difficult to fill in and patch over, and they may never match with the rest of the concrete surface. With polyjacking, very tiny holes are needed since a foam is all that is being injected. The holes can easily be patched over very easily.

The Polyjacking Process

The process will start with us cleaning off the surface of the damaged slab so that dirt and debris don't get inside during the repair process. Next, we will drill the tiny holes (as mentioned above) in the slab. The polyurethane foaming material is injected into the holes and below the slab. The foam expands and fills up the entire void. The pressure of the foam helps to push the concrete back up to the level where it needs to be. We then fill in the holes and patch them over so that they match with the rest of the surface. The polyurethane foam cures within 15 minutes or so, and afterward, it can be walked or driven over like normal once again.  Rather than go through the hassle and major expense of tearing out and repouring fresh concrete, save money and fix it.

Types of sunken concrete repair projects include:

  • Patios and porches
  • Sidewalks
  • Garage floors
  • Driveways
  • Pool decks
  • Garden paths
  • and more
